Marsha S. Babb began her career 1978 in Cleveland County for the Administrative Office of the Courts as courtroom clerk in Criminal Court.

In 1983 she was promoted to manage the Cleveland County Community Service Work Program and transferred employment to the NC Department of Crime Control and Public Safety. In 1985 she was promoted and became Area Manager with Crime Control’s Division of Victim and Justice Services and traveled the state auditing community service programs.

In 2003 Marsha joined The Michael York Learning Center. She is presently a member of the Cleveland County Board of Realtors and serves on the board of directors for the Cleveland/Rutherford Kidney Association. She has previously served on the Board of Directors for The Cleveland County Realtors Association, United Way, Flynn Fellowship Home, Cornerstone Christian Center and the Salvation Army.

Marsha is married to Eddie Babb and has two sons and six grandchildren.
